Vinyl Dye??
Vinyl Dye??
Another cross post:
My ’72 Cutlass S is black with green interior (the exterior used to be some sort of puke green). At first, the green really bugged me, but now it’s growing on me. However, I would like to darken it up a bit. You know, the Green Hornet feel. Are the vinyl automobile dyes I see the thing to use? Do they “really work” in that they dry properly and are smooth after application? It would need to be the dash, the interior trim, and ultimately the back seats.
Thoughts?

There are a few posts on vinyl dye and plastic paint. I've used SEM prep and paint products and my interior pieces came out nice.
Here is a link to some before & after.

Search for SEM and you'll get lots of posts as well.
Good luck!
