Talking Teepo Gets A Plaque - Ravenna Elks Club Car Show

Here ya go Jamesbo.... Not a trophy, but we'll settle for a plaque du jour, lol!! Nice show yesterday. Debated about going because of the chances of thunderstorms they were calling for - it was so humid and cloudy/foggy in the morning. I waited until after 11 am to leave, when it looked like it was clearing up. I thought about going to the nursing home show in Aurora cause it's closer to home. Did you go to that one, Blue??

Turned out to be hot and nice - clouded up bad again around 3 pm, but the show was ending around then. Made it home and in to the garage without any rain. She was very happy!

So we placed in the top 20 - ok with me! My friend Nick with the big 48 Olds got a trophy for spectators choice! He's such a nice guy - I was really happy for him! Linda and I got T-shirts (wish they would have tank tops once in a while) with Teepo's picture on them! Is that ****, vain, both, or what, lol! They were taking pics as we pulled in, and you could get a pic of your car on a lot of different things. Pretty cool.

So... here are pics from the show!

Sandy your going to run out of room on the wall if you keep going to car shows. I guess that's ok you just buy a bigger house.

The 48 is very very nice. I liked the Pontiac also.

Nice pictures - congrats again!
Looked to be a perfect day for a car show - warm and cloudy.

It has been sweltering here for the past month - had not drove the 'vert for a long time.
No fun to be out in the heat like this getting instant sunburn and heat exhaustion...

Congratulations, you sure you aren't missing a show right now Sandy???
That poor Teepo never gets a break.

I hope you didn't mistake that blue with woodgrain AMC wagon for my Vista Cruiser Sandy... like you did with the Chebby wagon at the Super Cruise.

That Rambler wagon is for sale Sandy, I think you would look really good driving it.

They have one of her playing her bass guitar already, the long black hair is a dead giveaway, but it ain't the head that bobbles.

I'm going to be a living Boo-Hoo doll when she gets her hands on me now.
