hi i keep seeing a beautiful 73 cutlass 4speed on craigslist for $2900 obo, the white interior dosnt even look sat in its super clean!!! the console/dash look great, the paint is ugly brownish burgandy!! it also says that it has a 330engine instead of a 350 rocket, ive never seen a 73 stock 4 speed and its in beautiful condition, whats a cutlass like this worth???

 

If it is $2900 I would jump on it like a fat kid on a cupcake. Especially if it is in good condition!

Well, the engine is not original, are you sure the 4 speed is? If the car runs, and is in decent shape and this is too good to be true...it's possible that it isn't. Lots of scammers out there. If the car is close, go see it. If not, ask if anyone here lives near the location, and ask if they'd look the car over for you. Don't just send your money. Do your due diligence first.

 

i dont think its a scam at all its been on craigslist on and off for over a month it started at 4000 and dropped all the way down to 2900, im also sure its a real 4speed because it has a complete 4speed console, they said that they replaced the original motor with a 330 but it came with a 350 A code I THINK, i just checked the add but it expired again its expired 4 or 5 times in the last 2months but allways pops back up! i have the number ill call in the morning, if you guys think that its that good of a deal illl jump on it, ill post as soon as i talk 2 them 2marrow

I looked at one many years ago. They were out there, but very rare.

 

Is it close enough for you to go look at it? If not there may be someone on this site able to go see if the car is as good as advertised.

yea its real close 2 me, i messed up ive looked at the add 30 times in the last month and a half but never called because i really dont like 73's but its so clean and its a 4speed i been thinking i could make some money off it! i should of posted the question or add here so you guys could see it, they didnt call back 2day ill call again 2marrow, fingers are still crossed!!
