Reminds me of the trunk on my 70 Impala, I used to say you could fit 6 of me in there, and 8 if I were dead.

There's a Cincinnati/Northern Kentucky Chapter of the Oldsmobile Club of America. You have to be a member of the OCA before you can be a member of a chapter.

Chapters in Ohio are listed here:

Be happy you have a solid car to start and work with. These body styles, the Delta and the Delmont are far and few between. Hard to find parts for. I have only seen 1 67 98 in a junk yard in Tenn and it was a four door at that. Good luck with it you'll have a keeper when your done.

paint code

C - C is Provincial White - Provincial White...so it was white bottom and white roof...just like your pictures show. If you are concerned about what color the car was, sometimes if you roll the back window down, you can see the original color of the car in the window channel of the pillar.

This site is for 67 cutlass...but may help for 88 as well:

Exactly what parts are you getting rechromed, and if you don't mind saying, what's it costing you?

Wow. $1500 for two bumpers. I have to believe rechroming two bumpers would cost less than that.

Another wow. $350 for both bumpers is a great price, in my opinion. I had both bumpers done back in the mid '90s on a '64 Jetstar 88 I once owned. Each bumper was a little over $200 to have rechromed. I would think that by today, those prices would have doubled. Anything under $500 for two bumpers I would have thought to be very reasonable. $350 is a steal. Let us know how the work turns out.

Hey, it's holiday time. These things happen. As you say, there's always lots of little things one can be doing to a car when waiting for the big projects to get underway.

That's a great body style, and very rare these days. I can't wait to see the finished product.
