is a Gm 350 diesel a dx block

not nescesarly a olds 350 diesel but a Gm 350 diesel

i can pick one up for 100 bucks , could it be converted to a Gas 350 bored out and still be a stronG enGine

all i know its a 84 Gm 350 diesel

i know there were 350 olds diesels that were made into hiGh hp monsters just wonderinG if there simular enouGh to build a descent street mostly strip enGine for my cutlass

All GM 350 diesels were Olds diesels, even the ones in Chevy and GMC trucks. The early ones were D blocks, later ones were DX. Either will make a very stout gas engine, but the DX is preferred.
