1966 Olds 442 adding a clutch fan
I currently have the stock fan on my 1966 Olds 442. I have purchased a very nice used 6 blade fan and a new fan clutch. I have the bolts to mount the fan to the clutch, I do not have the bolts to mount the whole assembly to the the pulley. I searched the internet and all I could find was a kit that included the bolts for the fan to clutch and studs. In the assembly manual, the installation calls for bolts and washers. Anyone know what size bolt I will need. Thanks'
This gets a bit tricky because non ac cars use a spacer and bolts and the ac cars with clutch fan have a built in spacer on the clutch. You will want to get the correct spacing/distance of the fan to the radiator. When i have done this I had to make my own longer studs to do what I wanted and the longer studs I could not find. And this was because I installed a fan shroud and proper spacing helps with cooling.

Thanks for your comments. If you look at the attached pdf from the 1966 assembly manual, it shows bolts, part number 9418820, not studs. As far as spacing goes, I have not been able to find specifications for spacing from the clutch to the radiator.
