Hey guys,
Here's a pic of my aftermarket tank mocked up in the car. I still need to paint the bracket, spacer and upper bolt head. Also need to find some larger hose for the overflow from tank to the ground. The hose from the radiator to the tank is 3/8 hose.

The holes they had drilled in the bracket would not line up,so I had to drill new holes. I marked one set and realized the new holes I marked would overlap the exsisting holes and didn't think the threads would grab like that. So,I played around with positioning and decided on another spot, you can see the holes that have been center punched ready for drilling. The trick is finding a new spot on the bracket for drilling and trying to keep things centered for the upper plastic tab on the tank that needs to be drilled.

Smile Hoser

'77 Vette uses the larger hose on the over flow...the original Olds cap uses a smaller hose (5/16")than the tank to rad hose...so those caps are for Ch**bys P. S. The original brackets are aluminum with a taper near the top...pics later, when I can find my stash...don't hold your breath...
