Trans PAN 442 '71
Digging tell me GM # 8679995 is the correct oil pan for a 1971 442 w30 Automatic CORRECT?

The GM # 8679995 is a shallow pan and then theres a deep offered. Did the w30 WO Trans take the deep?

No, all Olds TH400s came with the shallow pan. The deep pans were primarily used on trucks.

By the way, the pan P/N is 8625766 (from the Jan 1972 printing of the parts book). Footnote 2 refers to using this pan on the second design 1967 transmissions with the flat filter.
