For a 1970 442, I am looking for a replacement plastic battery cable clip that mounts on the drivers inner fender well. Anyone know where I can get one? See picture below.
The clip shown in the first pic (by the OP) is not the correct style clip for a '70 car IMO. Are you looking for the correct clip???.....or just something that will function?
Correct clips are available from the repro vendors. I have some nice originals as well. The originals are metal clips, partially dipped/coated w/a black rubber/vinyl coating and the metal part is a olive drab green color. The clip shown in the first pic is a black plastic clip.
I believe the motor, etc shown in that pic is a '72.....that year had some different features.
Even the firewall appears to be from a later car than 1970, judging by the position of the horn relay.
Yeppers. I believe 1972 was the first year the horn relay/distribution/junction block was mounted to the firewall. My 1971 (A-Body = CS) has the horn relay mounted to the fender (same as 1970 in the image I posted).
