How to own a real 4-4-2 without really trying in two easy steps... just jack up a junk 4-4-2 VIN and roll another car underneath.

For the price this guy wants, a crook might be the targeted audience.

Without being able to document any cars history these days, It's like rolling the dice when you buy something. It is just way to easy to forge a high value car now.

442 riding mower

So I came into some cash from a lucky nite at Bingo, and some of you may scoff and ridicule, but I bought this item so I could have the only "one-of" Olds 442 model John Deere riding mower in this part of Canada! Now looking for a posi rear end and some stainless trim pieces. Will post in the "Parts wanted" forum.

Gotta get me one of those motorized lazyboys. Just the thing for cruising car shows. Saves the feet and two cup holders means beer in each hand how cool is that.

I reported it yesterday. My guess is that they will leave the ad in, as there is no *direct* evidence that he is selling the VIN. I'm sure the seller is very intentionally *not* mentioning the VIN tag is included.

Angry Let's see how stupid they really are

I just sent a question to the seller asking if the VIN tag is included. I'll let you know what the response is. If they reply yes, I will report it with proof immediately. This crap really pisses me off!!!

He never mentioned the word "VIN" but did say "tag". Plus he shows both the front and back of the "VIN tag" in his pics of items for sale. I think that legally you would be obligated to have the items you show in the pics as part of the sale and this would make him a crook.

I'll make a donation.

Citcapp could use it to go visit Jamesbo.

I would pay anything to see Jamesbo's bear tearing down the road in that baby being chased by the cops.
