Another informed ebay seller

A 1970 Cutlass pace car with a swapped in 455, because, in the seller's words:

As any Oldsmobile enthusiast knows, the block for an Olds 350 and 455 is the same,
I guess I must not be an "Oldsmobile enthusiast"...

The front bumper brackets need to be adjusted so the bumper fits tighter to the bodywork (a common problem I'm told)

Looks too tight already

So did this pace car not have dual exhaust from the factory?
Note the crossover pipe has been cut and welded instead of having the cap used on N10 optioned cars:

My 72 has dual exhaust and has the identical capped exhaust as in the picture. If someone did it after the factory built it, they did it EXACTLY like in the picture. I have an L34 350. How can I determine if it was dual from the factory?

Your vin would have an M in the engine code. 350 4bbl with dual downturned exhausts

ALL SBOs with factory dual exhaust used a cap like the one in the photo below on the passenger side manifold. The factory did NOT crush and weld a section of pipe like in the photo above.

The good news is that the cowl tag DOES say "Y74", so it's legit.
