Lost another one
Lost another one
Lost another of the greatest performers today. Jerry Lee Lewis passed this morning. I had the priviledge of seeing him in performance at Granny's Dinner Theater in North Dallas back in the early 80's.
I just saw that. Earlier this week TMZ reported he died and they had to dial back that statement. It seems to be final this time.
His cousin Mickey Gilley died back in May. Both great piano players.

Jerry Lee was one of the greatest Rock & Rollers ever. He never had the looks of Elvis but in my opinion, he had lots more talent. It is amazing he lived as long as he did and was the last of the million dollar quartet to go. Coincidentally I have the three CD set called A Half Century of Hits laying on my desk. It includes a book in the cover that tells of his life. Quite interesting.
RIP Jerry Lee.
