I discovered this today on my car- previous owner had installed late model (I believe it is a '77)carb on my 1970 Cutlass. My question is regarding the high idle solenoid for the A/C- the late model carb has the solenoid mounted directly to the carb. I have a 1971 carb which does not have the same provision for side mounting. How was the 1970 Cutlass A/C idle Solenoid mounted? Was it mounted to the intake?
