Has anybody tried to buy anything from Edelbrock? They have nothing in stock. They do not have a single manifold for an Oldsmobile in stock and every carburetor I looked at was out of stock. I was looking at the AVS II #1913 and nobody has it but will order it with delivery dates ranging from March to June. I understand covid but it seems they have shut down which I know they haven't. Weird.

 

Summit is showing out of stock on that model, too, but they seem to have a number of Edelbrock parts in stock including some carbs.

 

Between supply chain issues, and relocating their production facilities, they are behind schedule.

Im sure all the Chevy/Ford/Mopar stuff will be restocked before they get to the Olds items. I see a lot of manifolds on Ebay and Facebook Market place.

some are priced as if they were gold, but there is plenty of bargains too.

 

I contacted them twice recently...they wont respond to emails and phone calls are just as useless. i thought this February the new heads were suppose to be available?

From what I understand the new head will be shipping later February or early March for the flat tappet versions and later March or April for hyd roller ones. No idea how many of the initial shipments will be fulfilling existing backorders...I'm figuring months before I can get a pair.

 

Bernard Mondello had a date of jan 28th as them being available. i contacted them and the answer is now "no" they have no idea when.

and if you were not on the list to get a set ,,you could be waiting a very long time

 

Maybe contact Mark Remmel (cutlassefi), he is the one who worked with Edelbrock on the re-design
