Anyone got an idea of where a Lansing built '69 Cutlass build sheet is typically located?

 

Finding a Buildsheet in a Lansing built car is extremely rare. Buildsheets were not supposed to be left in the cars, and Lansing employees did a good job of removing these. Possible places are in the backs or bottoms of bucket seats. Backs or bottoms of back seats. Under the carpet. Above the headliner, above the gas tank.

 

I found one above the gas tank on my Freemont built 70 Supreme, but there wasn't one to be found anywhere on my Lansing built 71 Supreme convertible.

 

Typically it was located in the trash can at the end of the assembly line. Lansing did not leave build sheets in the cars.

 

If you find one put it in a safe

My NJ built '69 had the build sheet under the passenger side bucket seat. Stuffed under the springs.

 

It's not.
