Ok everyone lets start planning before it gets cold. I'd like to have an OKC get together. Either my place or public eatery is fine. Thinking burgers and barley soda and shoot the bull about Olds'. Who's in? Thinking Saturday's work the best for me. I work Friday nights almost every week.

You guys need to make sure to come down to the OCA Zone Show put on by the NTOC. October 16-18th at the hotel across from Texas Motor Speedway on I-35W

 

I would be willing to get together in OKC. Sethj78 also lives near OKC. I hope my 71 is running soon. That way I can drive it instead of my VW.

 

I have been contemplating a drive to OK some time this fall, mainly to visit Turner Falls. It would be nice to meet a few Olds fanatics, also!

There is also an Olds Club in OKC; however, they aren't very active. I've called the president a time or two and talked to him. He says there are a few members that get together for show and shines and parades but that is about it.

My friends and I have wanted to go to the Chief Drive-In in Chickasha for quite awhile. It is supposed to be a fun time.

I plan to be there at the Fort Worth show on Saturday only, weather permitting.
If my ladyfriend comes, I ~might~ try to bring both Olds'. I do not like the way she drives though.....
How will we ID ourselves at the show? Name tags? Pins? Bright orange vests? Goofy hats with our names on them?
I have never been to an OCA meet, so I do not know how crowded it would be there. I would like to meet as many from this board as I can.

I'll be in OKC the next 2 weeks (Mon - Thurs) on business. If the Oklahoma gang get's a weekday gathering going I'd like to join. A location near Bricktown would be cool.
