Finally got my 3.55 posi gears and wilwood brakes hooked up right (**** wilwood master cylinders though). But now I just want more power. Suggestions on what to do to a 330 that's bored our .030? Already planning on replacing the cam, need suggestions for that. Suggestions on different heads and where to get them?
Trying to avoid swapping a 455 because I wanna be "different" but if a built 455 is significantly cheaper, I guess I can be convinced to go that route.
Assuming that you just don't want to go in the bottom end at all: the 330 crank is steel and can be stroked to 3.5".
is that your car? Pretty cool! What are the stacks?

It is, thank you! Stacks are just an air filter cover that's just for ***** and giggles.
Put a 350 in it! Same physical size as the 330 but much larger bore so it will breathe better. Try to avoid the "window" main block as it is weaker. You can put the larger W31 valves in your 330 heads also.
You can build a high revving 350. The 350 spins to 7k very easy. The 67 is a fairly light ish car. A 350 would be a good choice imo. The take abuse with less work vs the 455. But that's just my 2 cents.
Id throw a small Nitrous kit on it. Since your motor is new, a 125 shot would be a real kick in the pants without over stressing what you have. And a small kit is less than $600. It only works when you turn it on, so you can cruise without worry.
A good performance tune-up mayadd some seat of the pants feel for less than $100(advance the timing and adjust the carb.).
What carb do you have?

I like the nitros idea. It's just and edelbrock 1406.
Alright. Yall haven't lead me wrong yet. Found a shop that'll install a cam for me for not an insane price, but I don't know cams. I trusted a speed shop to pick one out and they apparently gave me a "**** stick" (see pic). So please suggest me a good cam for an Olds 330 with a 4 barrel, #4 heads, bored .030 over, I believe a 2000-2500 stall, th350, and 3.55 gears. I've got bigger power disc brakes so I need to take that into consideration.
I'd love something that sounds like an old school lumpy cam that's about to die at idle, but I should go with what's best for performance and drivability. Link if you have it, please.
Also, what do y'all think would be better? A high rise 4bbl single intake or a dual 4bbl intake? It's a free install.
Talk to Cutlassefi if you want something custom. A Comp Cams 280H works good in a Hi Compression 330. Being a 67 Engine it should be a 39 degree block. The cam the shop recommends is a Comp Cam 268H. It's a really mild cam.
The dual quad has the wow factor, the single quad is easier to tune.
A basic 125 shot of nitrous is easy to install and run. You can run it off your existing mechanical fuel pump. Ive run 3 of these systems on different cars over the years without issue.
Once you decide to go over 150 hit you need to start upgrading your fuel and ignition systems,
To figure out where you converter is stalling, got to an empty parking lot, pump up the brakes as best you can, and give it gas with the brakes locked. your highest rpm with out spinning the tires or moving the car is the stall you are currently getting.

Any quick way to check if I've got a high compression motor? All my research says I do, but someone could've swapped the intake on me. Are #4 heads any good?
The comp 280h is a great old school grind. It works well. You will need closer to 10 to 1 compression. But it has the old school sound. Really I would buy a core 350 and build one and that would be the best case scenario.

Nitrous is without a doubt, the best bang for the buck. A decent plate system is about 500 bucks. Assuming the engine is built correctly, there is no reason it won’t handle a 125 hit. If the piston ring end gaps were set up right, it will handle far more than that. Just make sure the fuel octane is high enough, and you have enough fuel pump. A separate fuel cell (filled with race gas) and a dedicated fuel pump to feed the nitrous is a good solution. If your using a MSD ignition system or some other programmable ignition, you can set it up to pull ignition timing only with nitrous. That way the engine isn’t doggy driving around with the timing backed off.
The problem with nitrous is no matter how powerful the engine is, it feels like a dog once the bottle is empty.
You built the car to replicate the gasser look, to me, nothing emphasizes that more than a blower. You also say you want more power, the blower will accomplish that.
