California quadrajets

Has anyone seen a California specific quadrajet for 1970. The number on a W30 stick would be 7040556. I've never seen one posted but CA cars did have emissions items. Thanks.

Understood mobile-30, but some of the other GM divisions used a 5 in the 5th digit of the part number to signify California emissions. A common 7040502 is a CA chevy carb the 49 state model is 7040202. I was just wondering if Olds separated the CA carbs. https://cliffshighperformance.com/ar...g-number-chart

I didn’t post before because it’s not a 1970 carb like you asked for originally but now you asked if Olds used a 5 for California carbs. I have a 17057553 which is a 1977 Oldsmobile 403/350 California carb as opposed to the 17057253 that would be the 49 state version. So Oldsmobile did use the the 5 for California approved carbs in some years.

My first post I stated my carb number and type of car it was equipped with the smog equipment for 1970 and did not come with with the 556 carb that is what I was leading to ! Apparently not enough info on my side.
