I saw that abortion earlier on ebay. Kept looking for the team of oxen that should go with those Conestoga wagon wheels. Damn I don't see how anyone could be so messed up between the ears they would think that looks good.
multi-tasker
So you get an Olds-based ,elevated, mobile stereo system....like they say..."there's no accounting for taste!" Car looks clean and solid,so some bidders may pick it up,flip the wheels etc. for cash and work with the rest....OR... ship it down to Jamaica and use it as your "pimpmobile" peddling girls and ganja to the reggae sounds of Bob Marley!!

Always wrong thinking folks about there must be a bunch of them. Seen a red neck four wheel drive Cutlass down if southern Florida one time it was 4 feet off the ground guy had ladders welded to it so he and his girl could get in.
I get a kick out of
and finished off with
Fully restored?? I don't think so. Something left as original is not restored. Restored means something completey different. This car is obviously targeted for someone who loves bling and is looking only for the superficial world of eye candy. Oh yeah, they would have to be deaf too. That's why the sound system.....
For 6100 bucks? You can't touch a fully restored 69 for that kind of money.
...and I agree with all of you, those wheels? I think they look hideous on that car.
YOU ARE BIDDING ON A 1969 COMPLETELY RESTORED
DON'T FORGET TO CHECK UNDER THE HOOD ALL ORIGINAL WITH THE 350 ROCKET 66,000 MILES

Saved
At least the body and drivetrain look like they can be saved. I really don't know what the facination is with bigger and bigger wheels??? Once you get past 20" the cars just start looking stupid. Can you imagine what it would be like cornering at high speed , kind of like the problem jeep used to have with tipping over. We can only hope that someone who wants a car to "completely restore" will get the car. You could always fund the project partly by selling some of the junk he has on the car.

Do wheels too big for their cars like that remind anyone else of JJ Walker's smile?.

~ Pete
After looking at that car, I understand what you're getting at, but feel like I should point out, in this case there's no culture involved. Culture would be found in things like yogurt, cheese and a dictionary. I don't think the word exists to describe what the car has been converted to.....

Ain't it always that way though? It's always the stupid people that seem to have the money. Siigggghh.......

Nice run time huh? 14.4!!!
Heartbeat thumpin power!!!
My sisters old Datsun could keep up with that. Bet that a stock Chevy could have done better with 15" rims and plain jane rubber.
OH! I get it now,its the axle company's making those wheels to boost sales.Good one!I watched a guy trying to back out of a normal parking space with those wheels,he had to pull up and back about 10 times to get out, cause the frt wheels wont turn 3''.Those things wiegh about 100#s too!I'd like to scrap some,$$$!Later,BO
