69 vert air conditioning center vent

Finally got the ac working, but the center dash vent is straight and not adjustable, blows the air to the back seat right past driver and passenger. Anyone ever seen an aim-able center vent part, or have any ideas on how to steer the air?

The center vent tilts up and down on A/C cars. There should be a thumbwheel on the side. Sounds like yours is stuck or the plastic duct that it sits in is broken. Possibly a previous owner broke it and glued it in place?

Thanks - yes it adjusts up and down, but side to side is my problem...

Same on the '68. No side-to-side option. I wish I knew someone with 3D printing skills to design one.

The center dash vent the Vintage Air sends with its kit has 2 separate vents, each adjustable up or down, and left to right. I don’t know how easy it would be to adapt to a factory air car, or if they would sell it individually. If you decide to try it, I’d suggest trying to find some better springs for the up/down adjustment, the original springs are pretty weak.
