Help identify these brake (?) clips

As I’m trying to replicate the N9 emissions connector, I’m Looking for a replacement clip for the piece. I found some brake line clips with a 3/8” opening rather than the traditional 1/2” on eBay, but the seller had no idea where they came from. Does anyone recognize these? Here’s what I have been doing:

Mystery clips

Cut the center out with snips

After filing the sharp points with a a Dremel, it fits the piece I’ve been toying with on a friend’s 3D printer. Still a ways to go with no timeline, but we’re close.

So any help in identifying these clips is appreciated. I’d rather see the regular finish on these rather than a painted one. Here’s my final part after painting. I’m going to test fit soon, but I believe the larger ring on this part isn’t wide enough yet.

I realized after attempting an install that the curvature is the wrong way, but a little coaxing with pliers and it fits tightly. My thoughts on the ring diameter are correct and we need another go around with the printer programming.

Try McMaster Carr. They have a big assortment of hardware.
