too many ads

I don't go onto this site much anymore. I find it very difficult to wait 20-30 seconds to read a single post while I wait for ALL these ads to pop up. I go on several other site and don't have near this problem. Is it just me or do other users have this same problem. I do have all kinds of "ad blockers" and such. Doesn't seem to do much. To me it seems sort of self defeating to have AD's constantly interrupting my reading. Internet brands want to have customers read the ads. There are so many all it does is **** me off and I just don't use this site. Or maybe I am just a whiner and that the way it is with the Web.

Download and install AdBlockPlus and you won't see any ads. It's free and simple, try it.

I used to use adblock plus, but not any more. I now use uBlock Origin. I never see ads. It's from Google (as what isn't these days), and it'll look like you need to have Chrome installed, but it's also available as a Firefox add-in, which is what I use.

For Firefox:

https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/fir...ublock-origin/

For Chrome:

Without adblockers, im with Mike77, this for sure is one of the slowest sides to upload them. One thing which is interesting, is that there isnt even so many adds, and theyre small, like currently one small bar above quick reply-bar, but it sure loads damn slow. Then you go to some other side and it loads its army of ads way faster? Weird?
