More Modern Size/style of the 69 Hurst Olds Wheels?

Going to be building up a 69 convertible and Hurst cloning it while i am at it. I am wanting to find some wheels for it that will still pay some homage to the original style of wheels that came on the hurst cars but in a more modern size, 17's or 18's. Anyone know of anything out there? THanks

The new type large diameter wheels that are suppose to look like classic OEM wheels, such as the SS-1 & SS-2, look distorted. At least to me they do.

This is one of the few wheels I found that does pay homage to the '69 wheel. I suppose you could paint the black part in gray. They're available in 17".

If you have not already seen, check out the wheels used on this 69 H/O conv project. And just the build in general. The wheels are more SSI, then SSII, but look pretty good !

Has anyone used these wheels? http://www.mhtwheels.com/saber-u437-w-5714.htm They appear to be more of a SSIII style and the gold accent is throwing me off. Trying to visualize them with a grey accent instead of the gold.

This one (18") is the high luster gold accent and it looks more like gold anodized or a cheesy gold plate job and i dont like it one bit.

But this one (also 18") with the painted gold accent doesnt look as bad. Could probably get it without the accent color and paint the accent myself in grey.

Removed color to give a better idea of what it would look like.
