1967 442 Oldsmobile

Is it just me or is there a lot less post on 67 Olds vs. other years? Is the 67 less preferred, harder to find? Even looking in parts catalogs like Summit and OPGI seems they have far less resto parts for 67's.

I did a body off restoration on my 67 about 3 years ago and had very little problem getting parts.
I bought a lot of my new parts from Fusick in CT. and most of what I couldn't get new I bought from members on this site. There are a lot of good sellers and very knowledgeable people on this site to help you out

I think the majority of Abody cars on the site are between 68 and 72. The 64-67 cars don't have the aftermarket support as the 68-72. Most mechanical parts for the 67 cars can be had at your local parts store. Interior soft parts through PUI or Legendary. Plus, there are enough cars being parted to get most sheet metal, trim, and interior pieces with a Parts Wanted classified post on here.

"post cars" themselves are definitely getting harder to find. I love the base "post car" look. 6 years ago when I installed new floors and trunk with all new braces I had to use 64-65 GTO parts. They were not stamped out with the same pattern on some areas as the Olds, but that's all I had to work with at the time. Sound deadener and carpet will cover the floor anyway but in the trunk you can see where some of the stampings don't match up.

I think he's taiking about conversation & parts for 67's,not 67 post cars. That's what I got from it but I can be wrong and probably am.
