Anyone have an explanation for this? Any way to prevent it? Spam is bad enough on the email now I start getting this junk here.

Thanks,

Thanks, I received the same,

Of course I responded and have already received from them a brand new CTS-V from them to test their scanner, along with one million in cash for my time.

I got one, reported it. Likely everyone on the members list got one?
Good to hear the problem is fixed. But I wonder if the bot that did this collected other info from the User CP that could be distributed elsewhere.

I received one also. Not a tech guy, but can't mass mailings via PMs be blocked somehow? Or does Internet brands sell the list with access to private messaging ?
The mods may get real busy if they have to ban each source one at a time.

I didn't get one. I feel so left out. Nobody likes me.

If it keeps me from getting spam, I am glad I am a nobody.

Got it too, but didn't reply.

I'm taped out after sending $5,000 in transfer fees to a recently discovered Nigerian prince/friend with over $600million dollars he needs me to stash for him. He promised 10% of the 600 if I do this. It's been two months now, but I KNOW he's sending me the money right away.

I'm curious about this as well. Luckily, since the member list is something published, they probably just got a script put together to dump the list and comma delimit it for sending out. One of the downfalls of using a popular off the shelf message board software.
