DFW area Machine shops

Im looking for machine shop recommendations around in Texas, around the DFW area. Wanting to rebuild my 403 soon. Not sure if i want to rebuild it or have someone with more experience and WORK SPACE lol. Im not trying to go the performace rpute. Just a stock rebuild. Looking for longevity out of the motor. Im looking on other forums but i figure i ask on here as well. And plus i trust the guys on here more than other forums

Reach out to the North Texas Olds chapter of the Olds Club of America. Send costpenn a private message too. He may know of some good shops.

I had Max Long at Warehouse Auto in Irving do the work on my 330 and my son's 425. Excellent work and understands the differences that make Oldsmobile engines unique. Also does excellent head work.

I have no personal first hand experience, but most of the reliable Olds speaking community I've conversed with have recommended Wayne Calvert in Denton TX.

Not taking anything away from Calvert, they are an excellent shop, have been in business since the mid fifties, but they are not the only shop that is well versed in Oldsmobiles. I am considered to be a reliable Olds speaking person (have been building Olds since late 80's) and do have first hand experience with Max.

Apologies Ed, No intentions to discount Max, nor your experience. Only giving more options..
