OK Toronado 90's. I ran across one recently that looked good, red, buckets, sun roof, runs, needs paint work because of clear coat. Tires looked good and body was good. Any interest in these. I always liked the body style with the narrow rear brake lights. They were like stripes.

Trofeo had its fair share of electrical gremlins. I think the styling was adapted from the 85 Calais coupe.
Edit: Toronado, not Tornado.

Some day I'll learn to spell because spell checker only fixes words I don't want to change.

Yes, the one in the photo has the VIC system, but my other one (a maroon car) does not... No problems as yet...

Here is a picture of my son's car he got about a year ago. It has low miles but needed interior work. Its running good however it needed a trans front seal and torque converter because the front was gouged and tearing at the seal. It does not have the VIC system. There were a few electrical gremlins that come and go as well as something weird with the fog lights. It is a nice car though.

I toyed with buying one, but the electrical problems it already had scared me off.
Interesting though, I did buy those turbine style wheels for my 95 Ninety Eight. Used em for winter tires because I don't like the look of plastic caps on steel rims, and like the look of steel black rims even less.
