Ac Ducts

So I purchased the AC distribution duct online. Its currently in the mail on it way. My question is where can I find the rectangle duct without spending hundreds of dollars. I was thinking that I could manipulate some circle flex hose to fit over the connectors but have to wait until I get them here to see. I was just wondering if anyone here has done something similar. The top ducts and all vent connectors are in place. With it being a California car the ac duct was taken out.

I have the passenger side for sure & maybe the driver side. I'm leaving in the morning for the rest of the week though. If no one helps you out before Sunday I can.

I have some ductwork that jensenracing sold me that I may not need. Very good shape. Pm me if you want it. I will send pictures to you. Will sell for what I paid plus shipping if you want it. Only reason I don't need it is I traded up to a car more complete.

Sorry but I just spent 5900 rebuilding the engine and replacing everything under the hood(which I'm still paying on). I'm looking for a quick cheap fix at the moment. Its just tubing that directs air I don't want to spend 150 on both pieces. Not for something that's going to go under the dash and not be seen if I don't have too. Maybe you missed where I said I didn't want to spend hundreds on duct. I appreciate your help and fyi I saw those on ebay for the same price that's why I asked for an alternative.

I can relate to that. I got 8000.00 on my card getting stuff for mine and still need to rebuild a motor for it. Let us know if it works.

Not everyone needs 100% correct .
My c-10 under the dash it tight, the 2" flex hose the oem(chevy) used was hard to work around, I used pcv pluming pipe.. And now get much more air out of the vents as the flex hose when you put the dash and cluster/radio etc would get partly crushed.. Some might say I "rigged" it.. but They also can't believe the force the air comes out the vents.. Sometimes you can rig up a better mouse trap.

I can see where the pvc would flow better with the smooth surface as opposed to the flex that has ridges that may slow the movement. As you said it won't crush either.
