If he still has it, what would you say is a decent amount to pay extra for him to hold it for me for about a month. I want it to do my first rebuild for my 85 delta 88. Daily Driver

 

If I was the seller, I would want an extra $100 in cash to hold it. Yes, cash, non-refund and for a specific period of time. If the "buyer" doesn't trust me with a hundred then so be it. Jmo.

What's in it now? May be better to do some mods to a known good running engine. Some members are professional or hobbyist expert engine builders that can tell you exactly what combos work best, just ask.

Before doing anything to mod your engine if you do that, run a compression test or better yet a leak down test.
