Flow master A body 2.5" tail pipes

How is their fit and finish? Where do the mufflers need to sit? Where do they exit? Thanks.

I have used tail pipes from both of these companies:
http://www.torquetechexh.com/.
http://www.taperformance.com/products.asp?cat=256.

Both companies are excellent quality, and the tail pipes are one piece, and if I recall correctly Flow masters are two piece tail pipes. I have seen them on cars, and I personally don't care for the Flow Master tail pipes

Hmm, Torque Tech is closing has no A body stuff left. According to T/A they use the same tail pipes for A and G bodies. I was told my Holley G body 2.5" tail pipes would not fit my 70S, as they are very different.

Didn't realize torque tech was closing. I have a set that is practically new if you are interested.

I may be. Where do the Torque Tech tail pipes exit? I may get a local to bend me a set, not 100% either way.

I have the 2.5 flowmaster tailpipes on my 71 right now. The previous owner had done some straonge exhaust work as it had mandrel bent 2.5 to the mufflers and a terrible set of 2.25 crimp bend tailpipes from the muffler back. They would hit the center section of the rear end on bumps... so i ordered up the flowmaster tailpipes and had them welded in. They fit great with room everywhere and are nice mandrel bent pieces. The 2.5" are one piece, their 3" ones are two piece for A body. The exit is straight out the rear with no turndown and a ton of extra length. I had them trimmed and some stainless tips welded on. I dont have any pics on my phone right now but could try to remember to take one after work, they look great but probably wouldnt line up with factory cutout bumpers.

Thanks, I have decided to get the local shop to bend 2.5" tail pipes similar to how the Torque Tech pipes look. I am mainly doing it for sound control, I want the exit as close to the back as possible. I told him two piece is fine to save cost.
