This 65 cutlass is near me. Thinking of buying and parting.

I was wondering if this was worth buying and parting out. I have never done it before and wondering what was needed on 65's. Or should I just walk away. Price seems fair.

Any thoughts

I see a lot of shippable trim parts, and front fenders, hood and decklid, if you have a place to store it, and patience, there is some profit here....

Look like a lot of good parts! How's it look for rust? How about corrosion on the pot metal trim? If you have the time and room I think you could do OK at that price. For me I like taking things apart so I consider it like watching TV, something different from work that I can enjoy. If you don't enjoy tinkering and taking things apart its probably not worth it. I've dismantled a couple 1965's so if you get it I can share some things to look for.

Right now time is hard. Spring is my busy time at work.

I wouldn't part it out. I would drive it. Looks like it could be a driver again.JMO

My same thoughts. I need a driver that's older.

I would jump at it for both reasons. If it turns out to be a decent driver than drive it. If it is not then part it.

either way a good purchase in my book

Going to look at it tonight, providing it is not pouring. Then wife's permission. I got lots of brownie points this weekend by putting hardwood floors in the living room and foyer. Will have to decide if I want to use them up on this.

Definitely not a driver. Lots of rust around windshield and rear window. Floor has holes. I not sure if I am going to get it. Time to part it is the problem.
