Ciera Daily Driver Reliability?

I'm eyeing a '93 Olds Ciera S for a daily driver that was owned by a local PD since new. It looks decent. How reliable are these cars to use as a daily driver/commuter/grocery getter? It has 93k miles and has a 3.3L V6. I'm going to have my Dad go check it out Monday and get back to me.

Good cars. I had a 92 with 225 k on it, and still drove it from Chicago to St. Petersburg FLA several times without any issues.

What was the mpg roughly? It's gotta be better than the 20 I get with my truck.
