Wiper **** on 1968 Cutlass

How do you remove the Wiper **** on a 1968 Cutlass without breaking it....I am afraid of pulling it to hard a breaking it or the switch itself.

Should be a setscrew holding the **** to the switch shaft. You may have to rotate the **** to see it. Some years the screw has a flat blade screwdriver slot, some have an Allen head screw.

There's no screw on a '68. Unless someone messed with it (hopefully not glue!), the **** just pulls straight off leaving the "stem" with the round button for the washers. The **** has a spring clip built in to hold it on the shaft.
