I feel stupid, but how do I get these wiper blades off? (1968 Delta 88)

Put your thumb on the round stud and push and pull with the other fingers. A gentile pry with a flat blade can work too but I dont like anything sharp in that area cuz you know you'll slip and scratch something. Squirt a small dab of WD40 on it. Put a moving blanket on the windshield and hood for insurance.

Actually, the correct (and easier) way to remove the wiper blades is to insert a flat blade screwdriver into the slot indicated by the arrow and lever down on the spring. This moves the spring out of the notch in the arm, allowing the blade to come off without drama and without punching a hole in your thumb.

Ah, that sounds easy!
