Windshield Washer pump delete

Did the factory ever offer a windshield washer pump delete option in 68 or 69?

Thanks

No. They were required by US Federal law.

Of course, Canada may be different...

On earlier model years, when the optional washer was not ordered, there was just a flat cover over that part of the wiper motor, something like this.

Thanks Joe.
That's very similar to the one I saw.
What years had that delete option?

Up Date. Turns out the cover plate was used as a shipping cover plate for new wiper motors and was not a wiper pump delete option.
I still like the delete plate and think it is cool.

Thanks joew31 for the information.
