or neither is the correct upper windshield trim clip? 69 442 Thanks

 

My son and I just recently prepped his 69 Toro for a wrap and had to remove both windshield trims to await application. The clip for the Toro, of same year, was the smaller one on the left. Can't say for sure if 4 4 2 would require same...but likely. Good luck! (Be prepared for the chrome pieces to not lay as flush as they did originally, especially corner unions, even with new clips. Frustrating as hell!)

 

The clip on the right would be correct for '68 & '69.

 

I'm pretty sure for a 69 Cutlass it's a clip like, or similar to the one on the left for the ws. The right clip style for the rear. Be aware there was a defective lot of the front clips from GM.

 

I stand corrected . I just checked a few '68 and '69 cars and most had the left clip for the front and either clip for the rear, depending on the car..
