windshield trim

Hey has anyone tried the new stainless windshield trim? I think its made by Resto Parts? OPGI sells it, maybe others as well. My trim on my 67 is not horrible but not great, there is evidence on most pieces where someone hit the trim with a DA sander earlier in its life. The trim has good reviews on OPGI, if their real reviews. Just checkin to see if anyone might have bought it and have an opinion.
Thanks
Steve

You can polish the chrome and remove ant scratches or dents, Time consuming but not that hard. Wet dry sand paper( different grit for heavy scratched) and chrome polish for the final touch.

Good luck

Nothing is better than the original. All the repro stuff I've encountered starts pitting after a short while.

Best chrome polish I've used is Auotsol. It's German made but a company in Texas sells it. I've pulled rust right out of chrome with it, it's that good. Go for the can not tube. Once you see this stuff work you will use nothing else.
