Thank you for sharing that. One thing that I would disagree with is the article says to to spray the cleaner directly onto the windows. I spray it onto my cleaning towel AWAY from my car. I like Invisible Glass - I use their product that comes in a spray bottle. When I first started using it I noticed a strong smell of acetone - aka nail polish remover. In fact the spray does have acetone - I looked it up. I would not recommend spraying that product directly onto your windows with the chance of getting overspray onto your paint finish. I think the better method is to spray the product directly onto your cleaning towel. And breathing that stuff in when cleaning your interior windows can’t be the best for your lungs. Just my opinion.

Yes, I know how to read - are you a teacher ? Since the article states both methods are acceptable my comment was more of a warning about Invisible Glass itself - which the article recommends. I would not spray Invisible Glass directly onto the glass. Personally, IN MY OPINION - I would not recommend getting the product on a high quality paint finish. Were you aware that Invisible Glass contains acetone ?

My apologies...I misunderstood your reply. As far as Invisible Glass, I used to use it (no idea it contained acetone), but have since switched to Griots.

The best glass cleaner is 50% vinegar & water w/ newspaper. It will not harm tinted windows or your interior. The may car my smell a bit douchey.

I use rubbing alcohol mixed with a little water as a glass and mirror cleaner. Since it evaporates quickly, it's easier to dry streak free. I use it in the house as well, and it's inexpensive.

I've had good luck using Sprayaway glass cleaner. I stole a can from momma and it works great.

I am a cheap bast@rd and use water with white vinegar in it for window cleaning. The interior window cleaning tool is a great idea, I use one all the time.

You sure about this? Newspaper ink has ammonia and will depigment the tint from what I've heard. I've always been told to use ammonia free cleaners on tint.
That being said, newspaper is one of the best because the paper acts as a degreaser as well.

Traditionally, newspaper print would leave a sheen of ink on the glass. This was from the black ink used for the letters. I don't know if this holds true anymore though. I guess they may have reformulated newspaper ink. Then again, I can't remember when the last time I saw a newspaper was.
