Who are you?

Since my near ten year hiatus I have forgotten a member but I remember your car, where you generally were, and what you did to your car. Here goes, You lived in the DFW area I think near Firewheel, you had an early 70's Cutlass or possibly 442, but here is what I really remember, you put an all modern steering/disc brake setup on your car, with a nice project thread describing it. I have searched my mind but cannot remember anything else. I was just wondering what is going on with your car now, if you still own it, drive it, whatever. If you do how is it going now that some years have passed, still good?

Could this have been Rob? Lady72nRob71 maybe? Rob did a lot of electrical work redoing power window switches and such making threads with detailed steps for others to follow. He has/had a white Cutlass convertible. Rob bought some property on the Oregon Coast. We'd have a burger when he passed through town. But I haven't seen or heard from him in several years.

Sounds familiar but not sure. I remember his thread on the interior I think. Didn't he do a big thread on that? Still not sure if it was him though. I do remember a complete front end steering/brakes upgrade, that might have been Lady...

That was him Dan. He did a Legendary Interior and I believe he even put heated seats in. I don't know what happened to him. He was very active on here and has not posted in years

Even if it’s not who the OP is referring to, I have wondered what happened to him. Some of his projects and discussions were interesting.

I don't think it's Rob you're thinking of, wasn't there a previous moderator named Richard? He had a red 65 Cutlass convertible I thought. Also, his young daughter happened to pass away.😥 I don't recall his username.

Richard is still on here His convertible is a 66 I think but maybe a 67. Great guy and I believe his daughter was stillborn. He had a recent post on here and now has his own business transporting cars. I Rob is the guy you are thinking of.

I woke up in a Soho doorway
A policeman knew my name
He said, you can go sleep at home tonight
If you can get up and walk away
I staggered back to the underground
And the breeze blew back my hair
I remember throwin' punches around
And preachin' from my chair
Well, who are you?

Just giving you a hard time. Did you ever meet with Rob in Dallas? I met with Citcapp; or Pat, up in Seattle/Tacoma in 2011.

My wife and I met up with Rob (Lady72andRob71) at Dinasaur Valley State Park in Glen Rose years ago. Very nice guy. He was planning on moving to Oregon, have tried to reach out but never hear back from him. Richard (Gearheads78) is on here sporadically and I think that is who you're thinking of when he cleaned up his grandmothers 66 Cutlass. Richard and I met at a few of NTOC shows, also a very nice guy. Both are very knowledgeable and are inactive mods on here.
