Two sets of keys

Just had brand new GM keys cut. Both sets have matching 442 keychains and my main set has my Haggery road side assitance tag. That is it, I keep it clean and simple. My other cars are push button start, so no keys at all.

I just have a novelty one that the kids picked up for me as a gag. It says...

Jam to much weight on that key chain and you will be finding yourself replacing the lock system.Don't ask me how I know....Tedd

The wagon, Toronado and Ninety Eight have circa 90s Oldsmobile Charlotte Zone Office keyrings. 80s style Rocket with "Oldsmobile Quality. Feel it. Oldsmobile Charlotte Zone" and the Zone office's address and phone #. Green for the wagon, blue for Toro, red for the big car.

I have a 1974 Pace Car key fob for the Hurst too, as well as an assortment of Olds-themed keyrings.

One that holds special significance for me is a Pepe LePew that one of the hotrodder kids got me for helping him with his car. The deal was he couldn't tell anyone who had been in his engine and to just tell folks the skunkworks did it.

Mine are the original keys with original spares, 2 for ignition and 2 for the trunk that the owner had in 1946. Hanging on what looks to be a Farmers Co-op oval key ring (faded). On a side note, I found out my car was bought for the original owners wedding in 46'. Pretty crazy. My dad was also born in 1946.

The keys to my Olds and my Chevelle:

That was my grandfather's body shop - I've had those keys in that case since high school.

... And I'm keeping this one, just in case I ever happen to come into posession of a Trans Am:

I picked these up at Auburn In. auto auction swap area. Just so happens that the colors on the fobs match the colors on both cars!

This is a really cool thread! Kind of neat to see what people have.

Here's mine, I have a old style eBay special Olds key and of course what 80's car would be complete without a era ZZTop key chain lol.

Some of you younger gents may have to look up what a church key is. (it has nothing to do with church)

I have an old blue plastic bottle opener on my key chain. It was on the key ring when my brother handed me the keys to his '70 Cutlass S in 1991. The car was stolen in 1992 and the keys are all I have left. When I bought my '72 Supreme, I kept the '70 keys on also for a while (ya know, just in case I saw the car again someday. I would just drive it back home ).

I've since removed the '70 keys but the bottle opener remains...a reminder of my 1st car/love and my brother's generosity. I don't think I ever used it to open a bottle

Yeah kinda. Notice the seam, that is where the bottom can be pulled back revealing a round cutting edge that "punches" a hole in the head of a cigar so it can be drawn upon and smoked.

Ha ha. When I bought my '72 Skylark convertible (which I drove cross-country) for $475, the keys I received were on a ring with a well-worn bottle opener.

I kept those keys on that opener through the years I had that car, and passed it to the kid who bought the car after an idiot U-turner put more of a dent in it than I wanted to fix.
I kinda wished I had kept it, but keeping it with the car was the right thing to do. Some cars just have to come with a bottle opener.

I usually only have keys on my key ring and they look to be the original keys. But my kids got me a speedracer car key chain a few years ago for the convertible so that's what I have. I love it, creates a lot of conversations, you know Trixie my first crush and of curse chim chim.
