I've had this for around 20 years, never did get a car with floor shift. So I decided to get it out and sell it. It needed a lower bearing replaced so I did that with a new reproduction of the original (NPD). The spring and white retainer etc are original there at the bearing. Checked to see if everything works as it should. It locks and feels good in all the tilt positions. The turn signal switch looks good both on top and on the lower column. When I move the T/S lever it is solid and moves free, the cable to the switch down on the lower housing moves nicely and it all seems fine but I really can't test it in a car (with 12 volts) to see if the switch does work. It has never been painted and I know it needs that. I do not have a "pig tail", jumper wire harness from the column to the car wire harness. I see one on eBay $42 shipped. It has a flange on the bottom, tilts are removable but non tilts are welded on in these years. I don't have the original nut for the top, it is 1/2" fine threads so I just screwed a lug nut on with my fingers to show the threads are fine.
If I were to keep my vert, it would be on her bucket list. I looked after I bought her for one and what Mike said is true and it does need a cancel pin.
I found them for $750 to over a grand and that has been 6 yrs ago or so. They are somewhat on the rare side so, GLWS. You should be fine on your ask IWT.

You can use a Chevy cancelling cam that works much better than the Olds pin style. That's what I used on my 66 and it worked fine.
450 to 750 is what i see...although i have sold an early floor shift tilt under 650 in about a decade...getting harder and harder to get, the repop hurt the value for a bit, but the repops have issues..
