What's best way to open stuck glove box 72?

Drilling the lock would be the last option. Try spraying some graphite into the lock. Wiggle the door while trying to turn the ****.
You may try using a thin pick, screwdriver, anything to try and get the latch to release.
If I remember correctly, the 70-72 cars use a cardboard liner similar to my 69. I’d tear out the cardboard liner and reach up and unscrew the latch (the part the glove box lock latches onto). It might be difficult to reach the small 1/4 screws, but the liner would be cheaper than the possible damage to the door and dash.
Maybe someone else has a better idea.
