What's a '70 350 SB #6 heads worth?

Sorry if this type of thread is verboten, but I'm pretty new to this site. What is the value of an unknown condition '70 block with #6 heads with an unknown condition TH350? The gentleman who sold me the frame replacement for my car is offering this '70 powertrain minus the rear end and I'm interested in knowing the going rate for these things. My car currently has a '72 vintage 350 with #7 heads, also of unknown condition but my assumption is that it is rough based on the rest of the car. I just bought the car this summer and haven't spent much time on it yet.

Thanks for all your input and helping me to make an informed decision!

Good running engine that is clean and non smoking or oozing fluids I would say in the 550-750 range and cores will range from 150-300 imo. If your engine and his are of unknown condition your engine will be fines since both will need rebuilds the only upside to the 70 350 is the smaller dished pistons.

I find it difficult to even get 4-500 bucks out of running small block engines with decent heads.
I usually end up selling just the heads and accessories for a few hundred, and chucking the rest. For whatever reason, olds guys usually go 455 power because it sounds better saying you have a big block car.

Yeah and you have an even harder time selling it once it's been actually done. I tried seling my built 355 for months dirt cheap and no one wanted it. Even after I had it running. There is just no love for the sb's

And if you want... when you rebuild your 1972 350 you could pick up a set of #6 heads to use.
