This is a Bracket, Upper Support, in Group 1.270. There are actually FIVE of those listed in the parts book for the 1965 model year. Unfortunately, the parts book doesn't list the differences between them.

1362180 64-65 F-85 V6, non-A/C
1362066 64-65 F-85 V6 A/C and Special Cooling
588651 64-65 F-85 V8 non-A/C
588816 64-65 F-85 330 eng, A/C and Special Cooling
390862 65 F-85 400 eng. A/C

My '65 442 has the second larger plate on it, no a/c or power steering, hope this helps. Looks like the smaller plate once may have had something attached to that small tang on it.

Thanks for all the help guys I guess it really doesn’t matter since not too many people know. I’ll put the larger one on to protect my hands from the fan thanks Brandon
