What Oldsmobiles do you look for?

I; like many others, enjoy searching online for Oldsmobiles for sale. Too bad I can't give them all a home.

I was wondering... What years and models do you search for? I suppose 2004 is the highest MAX year you can use for Oldsmobiles. Do you only look for the 68-72 Cutlii? Are 92-99 H bodies and 91-96 C bodies worth searching for? Does anyone search for the less loved Oldsmobiles (i.e. Bravada, Silhouette, etc.)?

FWIW, in all of my searching for Oldsmobiles I have only ever seen no more than 1/2 a dozen supercharged Oldsmobile H and C bodies. In addition, I might have seen a total of 20 78-85 Oldsmobile diesels. Share your thoughts.

Ever since I got my '78 Toro early last year, I've been regularly searching for '77 and '78 Toros as these two were the final years of the big Toros after the other GM full-size cars were downsized for '77. Together they represent the end of the second generation as I look at it. Plus, both years were the only years of the XS option, which my car has.

I don't actually plan to buy any of them, but I do save all of the photos of each one. I've amassed quite a nice photo gallery, which I may sometime try to organize in some way. To date I have collected photos of 19 '77 Toros and 28 '78 Toros. Three of the '77s and 14 of the '78s are XS's.

All of them. Well, at least up to the mid-90s or so.

I don't look too often, I get enough leads from you guys here on CO.

Seriously, I do look for 73-75 88 convertibles and big Ponitacs too, from time to time. I like the ride a big car offers and I've never owned a drop top. Someday!

I used to gas for those when I discovered they even existed years back. I thought they'ed make great cruisers and be able to get out of their own way when built right. Yea, I still like those, kinda forgot about'em. Reminds me of the pace car of the era.

I look at the 66 Cutlass/442 Verts and coupes. I try to focus on photos of the car that may help in verifying how correct some items are on my car. Interesting how you can spot a pattern to use for digital support of correct or incorrect.

Those 77 and 78 XS Toronados are quite rare. I don't see them very often.

I've seen those Holiday 88s from time to time. Too bad that jabroni has Chevy wheels on his Olds.

I'm always looking for a 62 Cutlass Convert for the wife. Cute cars and I'd like to have a 215 powered car someday.

I don't actively search for anything other than parts for my 67 442.
I would not mind a mid 50s 88, a 72 H/O, or an engineless 84 H/O to make a project from. Maybe a giant limousine from the 70s.

69'-72' A Bodies and any year Vista or flat wagon. Not in the market by a long shot but it doesn't stop me from looking.

That Delta in Carmel, NY is well worth the asking. I'd most likely go get it if I had somewhere to put it. The fact that I don't have the funds is secondary to my habit.

I never really look for a particular car. But if something pops up, I will think about buying it. I mostly look for parts for cars I have. 49 and 55 Olds coupe's (no engine or transmission) would be desired.
