I surmise that my Olds might have been owned by a roofer at one time.
It had several pounds of roofing nails in the side pockets of the trunk.

 

That was a lot of money at that time. My Dad sold a 1/4 section of land around that time for $4000. I told him, only $4000? He said it was a lot of money in 1977.

 

big lots of money, I worked at fisher Lansing plant in 77, 7.35 an hour. i quit a 3.25 an hour job to take this one. man, thought i was living large. lol

also, don’t know if this applies but once I dragged a car out of a backyard and underneath was a Muncie case. The guy said I could have it. Turns out it was a counter case . I sold it for the same price I paid for the car.
