What is The "Mule" 64-442?/Motor Break in

I went to a car show today and had about 10 olds. Custom cruiser, 85 cutlass w/455, 69, 442, 67 442, 66 442 and this. I stopped to speak with this gentlemen and not only did he give me break in zinc for the new motor but also told me that this was what a 442 was "supposed to be" He called it the Mule. He also gave me these instructions for breaking in the motor- Add 5 qts break-in oil (he gave me a name and i forget the brand of the oil was a , this 3 oz solution he gave me of cam-shield 1 shot break in/racing zinc, a wix oil filter. Run the car for 500 miles and keep a 90 weight magnet on bottom of the filter. Then he got very close to me, haha and said "pull the filter and cut it in half..if you find metal in the 3rd core of the filter the motor could have been built better"

It's his interpretation of a '64 442.

That's a mental image I didn't need...

Actually, if I ever built a 64 442, I'd likely put a 403 in it also (or a DX block with even more displacement). I just wouldn't broadcast it on the valve covers.
