My first Olds experience was a 65 Olds 442 I bought in 1972 home on leave from the army. Fast car that didn't last long. I headed back to base in Fort Riley, Kansas from St. Paul, MN and the car went thru a case of oil on the way and finally the engine froze up on Hwy 70, 50 miles from base at 1:00 am in the morning. I ended up pushing it off the road, removed the plates, hitched a ride to base and never seen the car again. I paid $900.00 for it and had it 14 days.

Drove my mothers 67 Cutlass down the dead end street that was across from our house when I was about 14 or 15 years old. I was sniched on by a neighbor and got in some serious trouble!
Ahhh, good times!

My first drive was in dad's '70 98 hardtop with a 455. A few years later mom bought a '79 Cutlass Calais both were very nice cars.

My Dad had a 1970 Olds 98 Regncy that I drove my junior and senior year of high school. It had a power bench seat and when you moved it all the way forward you could seat six for dinner in the back seat. (or other activies that required room).

455 and a huge class three hitch that towed our boat all over WI.

I havent thought about that car in a while.

first old's I drove was my dad's 71 lime green Cutlass S black bucket interior with console - would love to find another one of those! Then my sister's 72 Cutlass Supreme, then my other sister's 76 Regency 98. eventually owned the 72 which I worked on myself and then owned the 98 which was in pretty darn good condition but I always got pulled over in it and was searched - being Italian in a black regency with red velor interior I can look back now and realize I probably looked like a drug dealer

The first Olds I ever drove was my 69 Cutlass I bought in May of 2006. Only put about 300 miles on it due to the restoration work. I have usually driven Buicks and Chevys but I have always been an Olds fan.
