What to do next ?

I have a 455 intake O4B and my 65 442 Alternator bracket sits up too high. Do I cut down the bolt hole on intake

to fit or what ?

If it is just the adjusting part that don't fit, why not make a flat steal bracket, that bolts to the alt, and sticks up to the adjusting slot and use a bolt, Not sure the bracket will not slip where attatched to the alt, but worth a try before cutting, won't look stock, but may work?

the 70-72 non air setup works with the O4B, rather than cutting up your original stuff
