What did you get for Christmas

Merry Christmas everyone , I got to spend quality time with family and my son bought me some new line wrenches. Also some cool tee shirts that craftsman has now. My daughter got me some very thoughtful gift cards.
Unfortunately my wife was unable to be with us for the whole day, as she is weak from a resent surgery. At least she is home now.

More food than any human being should be allowed to have. The Williamsons are big on family feeds at all holidays. Did the 3rd one last night and one more on NYD, then guess the next will be Easter. I might have recovered by then! Plus I got leftover plates from every feed! I have a piece of four-layer coconut cake for lunch today, and I intend to eat it where the rest of the crew can see it. Heh, heh.

I got a Robert Cray CD box set and a cousin managed to find me a DVD of "The Culpepper Cattle Company". Usual assortment of gift cards too.

Hope everyone got something they wanted or needed, and that you were all able to spend the holidays with people who love you and care about you. I've found that as I get older that becomes more and more important.

Those things are awesome. I have a vid in my sig that was taken with one. Lost one in a lake while boarding. Dummy me didn't put a floaty on it. The line hit the clasp on the cup and down she went! Straight to Davy Jones' Locker!

I got me the exact same thing. Had been waiting for the Christmas sale for 3 months.
Kids got me a computer chair and my grandmother got me a nice security camera setup. After the 4 wheeler got stolen, the cameras will be nice to settle the wife's nerves.

Pete,

I'm not smart enough to figure it all in my head. Much of what I do still requires a quick calc, ie: existing concrete quantities from 100 year old plans (scans of course), steel pick weights, quick ball park pricing for clients, etc.

Destructor, you sound like a neighbor lady whose three kids and 8 grandchildren all show up for Christmas. She says the prettiest Christmas lights are taillights headed down the driveway!

I have not used it yet but my buddy has one on his bike. I've been wanting one for a while.

Santa brought me new floor mats and inner/outer front wheel bearings. The ac compressor replacement is on order. Hopefully an elf will be dropping it down the chimney soon.
